Software License Agreement

1. The agreement

This agreement is between Solplan and the person or organisation that buys or uses a Solplan program (you). Installing, activating or using a program means you accept it.

2. License

Solplan gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the program for your own engineering work, on the number of computers covered by your license, for the licensed term. The program is licensed, not sold.

3. What you may not do

• Share license keys, or use one key on more computers than it covers.
• Get around the activation or license checks.
• Rent, lend, resell or sublicense the program.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the program, except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
• Remove copyright or license notices.

4. Activation

Programs are activated online. Activation sends the license key, the program version and an identifier of the computer to Solplan. This data is used to manage your license, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Engineering responsibility

The programs are tools for qualified engineers. They do not replace engineering judgement. You are responsible for the input data, for checking that the methods suit your problem, for verifying the results and for any design based on them.

6. Updates and support

Updates and technical support are provided during the licensed term, as described on the Licensing page.

7. Warranty

Solplan will try to correct reproducible defects reported during the licensed term. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the program is provided as it is, without other warranties.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Solplan is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data or contracts, or losses arising from designs based on the program’s results. Solplan’s total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ownership

The program, its documentation and all copies remain the property of Solplan. Your input and output files belong to you.

10. End of the license

The license ends when the term ends without renewal, or when you break this agreement. When it ends you must stop using the program and uninstall it.

11. Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
